This year The Flaming Lips’ will embark on a historic quest to break Jay-Z's Guinness World Record for the most live concerts in 24 hours (multiple cities). The 24-hour live stream kicks off June 27th on the iconic Beale Street in Memphis, TN, and then snakes its way through Mississippi, going out in a blaze of glory in New Orleans, LA. The audience will be presented with a never before-seen, all-access pass to the unpredictable high jinks that occur on a tour bus.
Joining The Flaming Lips on their 8-city traveling road show through the birthplace of rock 'n' roll will be an array of recording artists, performers and eccentric characters. All the action will go down on a tricked-out, camera-rigged tour bus, where we will encourage the audience to participate on this journey -- by watching at home or joining the caravan.
