Summary

Fruit has been mysteriously disappearing from the canyon orchard, causing a dire food shortage. Jake is thrilled to find a fully‐equipped film truck in the canyon and enlists Butch and Sly to create a controversial exposé on canyon life. Norm and Sheila are becoming ‘frustruated’ by the lack of privacy in the canyon and go to extreme lengths to find a quite place for some romantic alone time. When Jake screens his film, he is met with harsh criticism from the canyonites for his misrepresentations. Seeking to redeem himself, Jake decides to film the orchard in order to discover the culprit that has been stealing their fruit, but winds up capturing the culprits and an intimate moment between his parents. When this steamy film is played for the crowd, it’s revealed that Norm and Sheila’s sounds of pleasure drive away fruit‐eating porcupines. Jake finds redemption, and Norm and Sheila find an unintended purpose to spending ‘alone time’ in the orchard.
