16 and Pregnant follows teenagers for 5-7 months as they navigate the unfamiliar territory and uncertainty of being pregnant. Viewers will watch as ten new mothers-to-be tackle all new issues including hiding the pregnancy from friends and family, watching one twin sibling get to live a normal life while the other is pregnant, a struggle with anorexia, moving out for the first time, abandonment by family and three surprise engagements. Cameras continue to follow the teens for a significant amount of time after they gave birth to document how they cope with taking care of their infants.
