Whatsapp might finally allow us to 'delete' sent messages!

19 September 2017
Rumour has it; WhatsApp might finally allow us to recall and delete all our frigging embarrassing messages (from within 5 minutes)!

If you (self-proclaimed to) have fat thumbs, and would normally not think before you type, this feature will come in real handy! 'Delete for Everyone' is not new as it has already been introduced by one of its competitors; Telegram, and has probably helped save thousands of relationships. Just a wild guess from me.

WABetaInfo (not affiliated with WhatsApp Inc.) tweeted on 12 Sep that they are testing this new feature for all of us to recall sent messages on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp currently has over 1 billion daily active users from around the world and is dominating South East Asia as one the top messaging service apps! 75% of the population in Malaysia are WhatsApp users, 72% in Singapore and 71% in Hong Kong according to Demystifyasia.

We've heard nothing from WhatsApp Inc. just yet. But let's hope this is all true! UNWANTED MESSAGES, BE GONE!
