Sam Smith And John Legend Team Up To Bring Us To Tears

10 March 2015
Sam Smith and John Legend on their own are golden-throated singers that have the ability to bring us in tears with a single note. Together — well, hold on to your Kleenex. Yup, Smith and Legend have teamed up for one tear-jerker of a duet — Smith’s “Lay Me Down” — a.k.a. Red Nose Day’s official single.

Red Nose Day is a fundraising effort organized by Comic Relief that will take place this Friday in the form of a show called “Comic Relief — Face the Funny.” Featuring an all-star cast — including Daniel Craig, Russell Brand, Eddie Izzard and more — the show will be broadcast on BBC One and Two, and will raise money for charitable projects both in the UK and abroad. All proceeds from Smith and Legend’s single will also go to Comic Relief.

Now our noses — and eyes — are red.
