Mizz Nina Takes Malaysia “Around The World”

25 April 2013
Fresh from recording and shooting the video for her new single “Around The World” – a collaboration with K-pop artist Jay Park - Mizz Nina is set to perform her first-ever major concert on May 18 at KL Live. After almost three years since her debut into mainstream pop in 2010, Mizz Nina is giving back to her fans and long-time supporters with a concert showcasing past and present tunes.

The hour long show promises to be a sensational affair for fans of pop, R&B, hip hop and dance music as Mizz Nina shares the stage with special guests Jay Park, husband Noh Salleh (of indie band Hujan) and the original members of the Teh Tarik Crew, the group that saw her break into the Malaysian music scene in 1999 as a rapper.

Mizz Nina will be working with creative director Raja Malek (“Puteri Gunung Ledang”, “The Secret Life of Nora”), multi-award winning music director Genervie Kam, who was involved in projects like the Anugerah Juara Lagu, and head choreographer Marcus Tucker who was a member of UK’s No. 1 b-boy and freestyle dance crew Funkstylerz UK and has worked with stars like Nas, Nick Cannon and Pixie Lott.

“I’m very excited about the team that I’m working with,” says Mizz Nina, who felt it was the right time to hold her own concert now that she had two albums’ worth of material. “They have all been chosen for their production and creative abilities, and I really can’t wait to see everything that we’ve been planning come to life.”

Tickets to the show are priced at RM70 (Limited Pre-Sale Release from April 17 onwards) and RM100 (General and At The Door) respectively and are available for purchase online at http://redtix.airasia.com/Events/mizznina/ and all Rock Corner and Victoria Music outlets.
