BLACKPINK, GOT7 and iKON are on the same stage this weekend and we can't cope!

20 October 2017
When the Busan Asia One Festival dropped its full lineup, I went into spasm-mode because this year's stage is looking to be the most exciting one yet. There are 13 awesome Kpop groups performing at this year's opening ceremony. And if you're even a little into Kpop, you'll know that GOT7, Blackpink and iKON are some of the most extra idols on stage.

I'm really looking forward to watching GOT7's bromance in action. Look at Markbam and Junior and Yugyeom:

The 7 of them make up one of the closest groups in Kpop land – it's so adorable!

And of course, who could forget the ultimate bromance? Markson *cue heart eyes*

When they perform they are #sexybeasts, but the truth is, their derp selves will always shine through.

A second group with a hidden playful side is Blackpink. They're on the road to be the next 2NE1, with the same – if not more – swag and derpness!

Just look at them:

They look so cool that you'd never expect them to perform like this:

And can we just take a moment to talk about iKON? The boys have endured so much to pursue their singing and dancing careers, going through two survival reality competition shows. They've since become huge and are talented singers and dancers that deserve all the stage time they get.

Let's just give the boys a break! Although we'd like something other than girl group dances. (I don't even want to know how this happened)

But iKON is so extra when they're performing that you never really know what's going to happen. Maybe they're just too excited to be onstage.

Not only are they unable to stick to their own dances, but they can't stick to their own parts either. Here's Yunhyeong and Jinhwan abandoning their positions as the vocal line to breakdance and rap.

TL;DR – GOT7, Blackpink and iKON live will be an experience totally different from watching their MVs, so catch them all together at this weekend's Busan One Asia Festival Opening Ceremony, alongside a whole lot more Kpop groups!

MTV Asia is broadcasting and livestreaming the entire 2-hour extravaganza on Sunday, 22 October at 6pm (SG/PH/MAL), 5pm (WIB). The livestream will also have a live voiceover in English – you'll thank us for it when your idols are up to their antics. Better set an alarm for this weekend!
