Logan Paul will return to vlogging soon – according to the YouTube star's dad

11 January 2018

Logan Paul might've vowed to take a break from YouTube to reflect on his recent controversy but the vlogger's dad has now revealed that his son will be getting back to business in no time.

Despite facing criticism from every corner of the vlogging community after uploading a video of the body of a suicide victim in Japan's Aokigahara forest, the 22-year-old reportedly has no plans to shut down his channel.

Infact – according to dad Greg Paul – Logan's break from social-media will be coming to an end sooner than we all expected.

In an Instagram video posted on January 8, Greg captioned the clip with his perspective on Logan's controversy: "MISTAKES!! We all screw up. It's a part of life. Do I agree with everything my boys do. NO! Do I agree with some of the things my friends do? NO! Do they disagree with some things I do? YES!

"Face it folks....... we all f*ck up at one time or another. That's life!! What we do with those mistakes, bad judgement or whatever term you give it , is what matters. I love my boys and I am sooo proud of them !!"

In the video, Greg goes on to announce that Logan will back on YouTube soon and declared that "the haters will never have an effect on the Paul family."

Naturally people aren't too keen on the idea of Logan making a grand return to YouTube and profiting off the entire incident – which is also tied in with reports that he may have monetized his second apology video.

Some people have described the expected return as "messed up" while others have taken more direct action by kickstarting a petition calling for YouTube to removal his channel. The document currently has more than 450,000 signatures.

This all comes amid reports that YouTube is considering "further consequences" in the case of Logan Paul's video, after promising that it would soon be taking "steps" to ensure that "a video like this is never circulated again."
