Fun. Set To Give Singapore A Good Time

15 January 2013
Described as an “irresistible and indefatigable live band”, FUN. will be making their first Southeast Asian stop in Singapore, performing live at The Coliseum at Resorts World Sentosa on March 15, 2013.

FUN. is among the most-nominated artists for the upcoming 55th Annual Grammy Awards, earning six nominations including the prestigious “Best New Artist” award. The NYC-based band’s acclaimed debut, Some Nights, has been nominated as Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, while the worldwide #1 single, “We Are Young” (feat. Janelle Monáe), was named in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance categories.

An extraordinary feat seen rarely in today’s music landscape, “We Are Young” was an instant catapult to the No. 1 spot on radio stations worldwide, including Singapore’s No. 1 Hit Music Station, 987FM. FUN. has not stopped living up to its name since their 2009 debut, Aim & Ignite. A year after the debut, they were opening for Paramore on their headlining tour and performing at Coachella along with The Strokes and Jay-Z.

On a social level, FUN. has taken steps to inspire the community and co-created The Ally Coalition (TAC), a partnership devoted to encouraging and inspiring the music, fashion, and entertainment communities to take action in support of LGBTQ equality. To raise awareness and funds in support of LGBTQ equality, FUN. has embarked on the REVERB Campus Consciousness Tour, hitting an array of colleges across USA.

Following their U.S. tour, FUN. will embark on an epic international trek that will see them performing in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and the United Kingdom.

Don’t miss out on the experience to catch this pop phenomenon live and be treated to a night of pure good FUN. Tickets are priced at S$68 (excluding booking fee) and available for purchase online at www.sistic.com.sg and at all authorized SISTIC outlets.
