Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande spark collaboration rumours and we are keen

19 January 2018

2018 has barely begun and Dua Lipa is already having an incredible year. She's been nominated for a record-breaking five nominations at this year's BRIT Awards and her new single 'IDGAF' is currently the third most streamed song on Spotify in the UK, and if you remember, she won Best New Act at the MTV EMA 2017!

On top of that, she just kicked off a slew of Ariana Grande collaboration rumours on social media.

YES. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT ARIANA AND DUA ARE MAKING MUSIC TOGETHER.

Dua posted a photo of the two stars on Instagram and while, they could just be hanging out together, something tells us that there could be more to it. Dua is currently in the process of recording her next album.

What if Ariana is recording a feature for it? Or could Dua be laying down some vocals for a new Ariana hit? The possibilities are endless.

Imagine how amazing a feminist anthem by these two living legends would be. We need this in our lives now. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Dua's just been followed on Instagram by longtime Ariana writers Savan Kotecha and Ilya Salmanzadeh.

From 'Love Me Harder' to 'Side to Side', they have worked on some of Ariana's biggest hits.

So even if they are just writing for Dua's album and not a duet, we're still in for a pop treat.

Nevertheless, we've got our fingers crossed that a collaboration is coming our way.

Dua and Ariana are two of the best in the business and a duet would be sublime.
