Michael Clifford Sounds So Freaking Good In 5SOS’ Bring Me The Horizon Cover

13 October 2015
5 Seconds Of Summer stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge and did a super deep cover of a heavy jam.

Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael stripped down Bring Me The Horizon’s “Drown” but the orchestral twist and Calum’s low vocals aren’t the only things fans are freaking out over.

The song presented an opportunity for Michael Clifford to show off his sultry pipes, harmonizing with Ashton and taking full lead during the chorus, and now we need to hear more from him ASAP.

“Who will make me fight? Drag me out alive?/ Save me from myself, don’t let me drown.” Michael sang, evoking so many feels.

Bring Me The Horizon’s lead singer Oliver Sykes approved the cover by tweeting some-kissy face emoji’s with a link to the video and fans felt the same way:

Besides absolutely slaying “Drown” (which a lot of BMTH fans have admitted to liking more than the original – woah!) the guys played their newest single “Hey Everybody” live for the first time ever during the Live Lounge sesh.

October 23rd — the release date of their new album Sounds Good Feels Good — can’t come soon enough!
