Dua Lipa’s getting a bigger venue in Singapore after pleas from fans on Twitter

16 March 2018

Tears were shed, tweets were sent — Dua Lipa's Singapore debut was sold out in a flash, and many fans missed out on getting a ticket. Not anymore.

Concert organizers Live Nation SG have heard your pleas. They've announced a venue change for the British sensation's upcoming concert on May 4th, now upgraded to The Star Theatre.

The concert was originally scheduled for Esplanade Theatre, and after selling out in less than a day, ticket scalpers were quick to sell tickets at a huge mark-up — up to S$1,200. Dua Lipa fans were having none of it:

Sticking to the concert's original date, more tickets have now been added and will go on sale soon — prices are set at $88, $98, $108, $128, $148, and $168. With The Star Theatre boasting a capacity of 5,000, it will accommodate a lot more Dua Lipa fans than Esplanade Theatre, which can only seat up to 1,950.

These will undoubtedly fly quick come March 19th, 10am. Live Nation have also stated that, due to the artist's tight schedule, there's no room for a second date in Singapore. This may just be your last chance to grab a ticket.
