Mac Miller may have cashed in when his Blue Slide Park hit #1 last year, but the Pittsburgh MC hasn't forgotten what got him to the top. On Thursday night, the mtvU Woodie of the Year award winner announced he's set to drop his Macadelic mixtape as a free Internet download on Friday, March 23.

After performing fan favorites like "Donald Trump," "Party on Fifth Ave." and his newly released "Loud" at the awards show in Austin, Mac took a moment to plug the new tape and revealed the March 23 drop date; the Macadelic Tour will kick off four days later on March 27.

It was an eventful night for Miller, who also took home the Performing Woodie award. For the coveted Woodie of the Year, Mac beat out some tough competition, including Skrillex, J. Cole, Foster the People, Frank Ocean and the Black Keys.

"I was really excited just to be nominated and I came in with the mindset that I wasn't gonna win, like that's how I wanted to think," Mac told MTV News backstage in Austin. "I was up against some really talented people, and I didn't want to come in thinking I was gonna win, but they surprised the hell out of me."
