You already know Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan share a lot. They are each one part of the pop duo Karmin, they are engaged to wed (date TBD) and they both graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. But did you know that only two days separate the couple from sharing a birthday as well?

That explains an Instagram photo of the two covered in cake from earlier this year. When MTV News caught up with the duo to get the story behind the shot, Heidemann informed us that her birthday is April 29, and her fiance's is just two days earlier.


"This is a series of two pictures: The first one is of us about to eat the cake and then this is the aftermath." Noonan explained. "You notice, somehow, my shirt became unbuttoned between two pictures, I don't remember how that happened."

Sharing so much together, does it ever get to be too much for the "Brokenhearted" singers?

"It's intense being together all the time, although on the same side, cheesy side of the story, is that it is really special, everything that we've accomplished this year," Heidemann replied. "I feel a lot of people don't get to do that in a lifetime, and we've done so much in one year together, and I don't know how to explain it to somebody if they weren't with me. It's cool."
