They British-Irish boy band have been hard at work for the majority of this past year on their still untitled third studio album, and recently released the lead single for their latest effort, the sultry, seductive track, "I Found You."
Yet, the fivesome are hoping to get some help on their upcoming album, and that help comes in the form of Justin Bieber. Over the course of the year, The Wanted, who share the pop star's manager Scooter Braun, have expressed interest to MTV News about getting Bieber to record a track, and it seems like it might finally happen.
"I know that Scooter mentioned we would do a bit of writing with Justin when we do a few dates with him," Nathan Sykes told MTV News recently. "We are just trying to write as much as possible and get the right feel of the album that everyone is happy with."
The Wanted will join Bieber on several dates of his Believe tour and will share the stage with him at the upcoming Z100 Jingle Ball concert on December 7 at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Yet, Bieber isn't the only one on The Wanted's short list of dream collaborators, they also have their sights set on Chris Brown. The Wanted, who have admitted that working with Brown would be, a "great opportunity" are keeping their fingers crossed that the "Look at Me Now" singer makes a cameo on their upcoming effort.
"We are due to go in with Chris Brown and do a bit of work there," Sykes said.
Jay McGuiness added, "We were at the Billboards [Billboard Music Awards in May] and we were really nervous because we've never done an American awards show at that point and we were walking around and Chris Brown came up to us and he was like 'I know you all, we need to get in and do that track for real man, for real. But I thought it was nice that he remembered and was like we really need to do that."
