It’s finally HERE!Singapore’s pop scene darlings, The Sam Willows just dropped their highly-anticipated debut album, Take Heart, on Friday, October. 30th.The album, which features 8 new tracks, including chart-topping singles ‘Take Heart’ and ‘For Love’, was recorded and produced entirely in Sweden together with Swedish producer Harry Sommerdahl (The Wanted and Pussycat Dolls). The album plays to an eclectic mix of Pop, Electronica and R’nB, whilst still retaining the band’s trademark Country-Folk sound.The quartet, made up of siblings Benjamin and Narelle Kheng, and friends Sandra Riley Tang and Jon Chua, recently marked their 3rd anniversary but that isn’t the only thing the band has to celebrate about.Their single, ‘Take Heart’ reached #1 across Asia charts from iTunes, Spotify to CHR radio station 987FM, making them the first local act to hold the record.So, how did the The Sam Willows react after hearing news about their triumph?
