These Are The VMA Performances You Didn’t See On TV

1 September 2015
The 2015 VMAs were filled with captivating performances — from Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift sharing the stage to open the show, to The Weeknd rocking out to his smash single, to Miley Cyrus debuting a new song — and those were just at the Microsoft Theater.

Besides what went down on the main stage, there was plenty of excitement at the downtown Los Angeles stage on Sunday night, too. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis partied in the streets for their first televised performance of “Downtown”; Demi Lovato brought Iggy Azalea along to heat things up during “Cool For The Summer” and Pharrell Williams let loose with his performance of “Freedom.”

But there were some just-as-sensational moments that didn’t make it onto your TV screen. Here’s what you didn’t see.
