BLACKPINK’s Jennie makes her ‘Solo’ debut and the Internet is already in love with it

13 November 2018

Just yesterday evening, BLACKPINK member Jennie released 'Solo', her debut individual single which is the first in a line of releases by the group's members.

While BLACKPINK are already on their way in conquering charts around the world, they're sharpening their arsenal by diversifying their talents as a group and as solo performers.

And it's working.

On November 13 at 4pm (SGT), 'Solo' has already garnered more than 14 million views on YouTube and counting, while it has secured No. 1 on iTunes charts all over the world.

According to K-pop news portal Soompi, the countries include Singapore, Malaysia, Sweden, Spain, Hong Kong, Brazil, Vietnam and many others.

Not long after the release of the music video, YG Entertainment has revealed its Making Of featurette, and it takes us through the many glitzy and gritty locations used.

'Solo' was debuted at BLACKPINK's major concert debut in Seoul last Sunday (November 11), and you can probably catch the singer perform that song when she arrives in Asia with the group next year.
