Rita Ora is our host for the 2017 MTV EMA!

28 September 2017
It's official, Rita Ora is adding EMA Host to her seemingly infinite CV. The internationally beloved pop sensation is no stranger to the MTV EMA—she was one of the opening acts at the 2012 EMA, presented the award for Best Hip Hop at the 2013 show and has been nominated eight times.
"I'm so excited to be hosting this year's MTV EMAs in my hometown!" said Ora. "I still remember how much fun my first EMAs was in Frankfurt in 2012, when I performed 'RIP.' I can't wait to get back on the stage to host and perform."

Judging by that epic 2012 performance, which involved her descending on the stage in a giant bird cage, Rita's likely to go all out as a host.

It's already been a huge year for Rita. She's made her way back onto the airwaves with the release of her new hit, "Your Song," she's also collaborated with Avicii on the chart-topper "Lonely Together" and debuted a new song, "Girls," with her friend Charli XCX and RAYE.

Now that we know Rita will be our 2017 host, we have sooo many questions. What will she wear? Will she get a tattoo during the show like Ruby Rose did when she hosted? Will she debut a music video a la Taylor Swift at the VMAs?

We'll have to wait until 13 November at 3am (SG/PH/MAL) 2am (WIB) to find out!

Until then, keep up with all things EMA and watch out for voting kick-off news by following us on InstagramTwitter, Snapchat (@MTVEMA) and Facebook!
