Spicy mami Cardi B will open the 2018 VMAs!

17 August 2018

Last year Cardi B blew us away with her performance of 'Bodak Yellow' on the VMA red carpet.

Fast forward 12 months and she's the most nominated artist at this year's awards and it's just been revealed she'll be opening the show, her first live performance since giving birth to baby Kulture in July!

Cardi joins an incredible line up of VMA performers this year including Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Panic! At The Disco, Logic with Ryan Tedder plus a special performance from this year's Video Vanguard recipient Jennifer Lopez.

Originally nominated for ten awards, the recently announced Song Of The Summer category saw Cardi rack up another two nods, taking her nomination tally this year to 12!

Find out how the 'I Like It' hit maker fairs when the 2018 MTV VMAs air Tuesday 21st August from 8am on MTV Asia!
