Time To Freak Out, Echelon: Jared Leto Is Back To Making Music

4 November 2015
As much as we love getting to watch Jared Leto the actor chameleon himself into stunning (and, in the case of his “Suicide Squad” alter ego, crazy AF) character roles, we’re starting to really miss Jared Leto the rockstar bringing down the house with his bandmates in 30 Seconds to Mars.

TBH, ever since their split from Virgin Records a year and a half ago, we’ve been practically chomping our nails down to the cuticles with anticipation for their next musical move.

And here it is.

On Tuesday (Nov. 3), Jared shared an Instagram pic of himself at the recording studio, revealing the good news that “#MarsIsComing.”

Thirty’s last album, Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams dropped back in May, 2013, when they were still signed with Virgin. After parting ways with the label, Jared Leto told Billboard Magazine that he and his bandmates — including brother Shannon Leto and Tomo Miličević — were relieved to be unsigned and thus “free and clear and excited about the future.”

“We’re all trying to figure out ways to share our music with the world, in new and exciting ways that don’t force us to have to sign some convoluted record contract that’s designed to keep us terminally in debt for centuries,” he added.

PS: Just in case Leto’s picture wasn’t enough proof that 30STM is bringing more jams to life right now, the band’s Facebook page echoed the teaser hashtag as well, capping a pic of one of the’s band’s performances with, “One day, maybe we’ll meet again.”
