Reports: Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson have called off their engagement

15 October 2018

We hate to make your Monday even more unbearable... but it sounds like Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's relationship might be donezo!

Sources have told TMZ that Ari and Pete decided to call it quits over the weekend, "with both parties acknowledging that it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off."

The source added that "the two still have love for each other, but things are over romantically."

It was over before it started for the couple, who announced their engagement just FIVE months ago. In that short period of time, Ariana Pete not only moved into together to a $16 million NYC apartment, but sealed the deal with a $100K engagement ring and adopted their very own pet pig, Piggie Smallz.

It's been a bumpy road for Ariana and Pete since their whirlwind romance began. Just over a year after 22 people were killed in a suicide bombing at Ariana's Manchester concert, the singer's ex-boyfriend Mac Miller sadly passed away from a drug overdose.

This understandably took a huge toll on Ariana, who asked for fans for a much needed break from the limelight.

"Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend," the singer's team said in a statement last month. "She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline."

We seriously hope Ariana is okay. Was it just too much too soon for her and Pete?
