Mitski to perform in Asia in 2019 — Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia dates announced

23 November 2018

As 2018 comes to a close, the gig announcements for 2019 have come in hot and heavy. While there will be the K-pop heavyweights in BTS and BLACKPINK as they make their long-awaited Southeast Asia tours, the indie side of music is also well and alive.

And one of its brightest stars, Mitski, will be coming to the region as well.

The visionary singer-songwriter, who released the well-received Be The Cowboy this year, will step foot in Singapore, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur for her debut concerts in those cities.

These are the only confirmed dates in Southeast Asia so far, along with performances stretching from Japan to Taiwan.

Tickets for the Singapore show are already released, while further details for her other SEA shows will be out soon — but if you're a fan, don't hesitate.

With the absence of Laneway Festival Singapore in 2019, it'll be your only chance to experience burgeoning indie pop names like hers in the flesh.

If you're new, watch the music video for 'Nobody' below and be amazed.

Tour dates:

18/2 – Kuala Lumpur, The Bee
20/2 – Jakarta, Rossi Musik
23/2 – Singapore, Kilo Lounge
