The first weekend of Artbox Singapore 2018 was a refreshing change from last year's debut.
While Singapore's festival-loving crowds turned up in full swing over the three days — with Sunday especially drawing lengthy queues that were hastily and neatly moving in — Artbox's promise of a larger set-up turned into fruition and resulted in an event that did not suffer from a breathless lack of space.
Within the festival's grounds featured an eclectic and colourful array of regional F&B and various wares. MTV was present to invite festivalgoers onboard our Fear Factor VR Flag challenge, which tested participants' fear of heights through a daunting task.
But while many contestants battled anxiety and pulled through that game, we've got something far more intriguing (and frightening) in store.
Presenting our Fear Box Challenge on Saturday (2nd) and Sunday (3rd), four pairs of participants will dip their hands into a series of unmarked, inconspicuous boxes that may — or may not — be filled with creepy crawlies. There will only be one way to find out what's inside, and you'll get to see the unlucky few take on the challenge, hosted by Hanli.
This one's for all you adventure seekers! No need to travel out of Singapore to get an adrenaline rush, you can get that at Artbox! Come down to @mtvasia's booth and try out their @fearfactor VR challenge which will test your love for heights 😏🙊 #mtvfearfactor #ARTBOXSingapore#ARTBOX_Singapore#ArtboxSG#artboxsg2018 #ARTBOX#Artboxbangkok#artboxbkk #artboxthailand#artboxasia#artboxoasis #oasis 📸: @_esoel
