Fifth Harmony's New Song 'The Life' Is A Masterclass In How To Slay

Just when you were beginning to get the hella repetitive (but delightfully addictive) “Work From Home” chorus out of your head, Fifth Harmony are back with a new earworm to make you embrace your inner queen.

On Thursday, 5H released “The Life,” the second taste of their upcoming sophomore album, 7/27. Kicking off with a shameless band name shoutout straight from the “Jason Derulooooo” book of self-awareness, the girls basically teach a master class in how to live your best life. Think of it as your Guide To Slaying 101 course — but instead of textbooks, the only required materials are poolside Mai Tais.

Over a big, bouncy beat, the girls toast to self-care and preach the importance of living stress-free: “Give it up for the kids/ Eating good, getting lit/ Living life, feeling rich.” That DGAF ‘tude, coupled with those sunny synths, basically make this a summer anthem in the making. Get about that life, y’all.
