Hailing from Taiwan, Y2J is made up of Lai Yuming and Jane Huang. The duo first found fame on the 2007 season of "One Million Star," where Yuming was crowned the champion of the competition. Although Jane finished at No. 7 on the show, her prowess and strength won over the viewers of the program and earned her the Popular Vote award. Coming together to form Y2J, the pair signed to Universal Music Taiwan in the beginning of 2008 and released their debut album Live For You shortly later that year.
