The wait is over. My Chemical Romance returns gloriously with fourth studio album titled Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys and is definitely putting danger back into rock ‘n’ roll.

The album singles “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)” and “Sing” have been burning up the charts, a reaffirmation that My Chemical Romance is still very much relevant to the times since they last took a back seat after the relentless touring and promotion activities of their last album, The Black Parade.

Dubbed “Album of the Year” by Blender Magazine, The Black Parade earned raves from critics (Rolling Stone called it "a rabid, ingenious paraphrasing of echoes and kitsch from rock's golden age of bombast," while Spin called it “savage and heartfelt”) and cemented MCR’s status as a world-class rock band.

Following the album’s release, the New Jersey-bred MCR launched The Black Parade World Tour — their longest and most comprehensive trek yet that culminated in a triumphant hometown show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in May 2008.

Teaming up with producer Rob Cavallo, the band found a new direction for the new album.

"At first, we said, 'It's a love letter to rock and roll,' and we found out that the best way to love rock and roll is to shoot it in the head," said guitarist Frank Iero. "So we made a record that was like a missile directed at rock and roll. It just started to change and evolve, and then the band evolved at the same time. And I think that's the way you have to make a record: in a very organic way."
