Since winning season 3 of Singapore Idol back in 2009, Sezairi has established himself as one of Singapore's best live acts and has certainly come a long way.His debut album "Take Two" was released in June 2010 – "Broken", the first single from the album, was the highest ranking Asian song of 2010 on 987FM, Singapore's top current hits radio stations. For a period of time, Sezairi even based himself in Malaysia, building up his chops recording and playing shows across the country; also bagging the Best Collaboration award at the prestigious Anugerah Planet Muzik Malay awards show in 2015.He came back to Singapore late 2015 and in 2016, released his first ever full-English EP. The 6-track record was meticulously crafted to illuminate Sezairi's personal journey and evolution as a musical artist over the past few years. The lead single 'Fire To The Floor' claimed the #1 spot on Spotify's Viral 50 Chart within a week of its release on June 10th, and managed to hold the #1 spot for 2 consecutive weeks. 'Fire To The Floor' was also named 'Song of the Year 2016' by Apple Music Singapore.In support of the EP, Sezairi played a showcase to fans at Twitter HQ in Singapore – Twitter's first ever South-east Asian music collaboration. Recently, he was selected as one of Apple's 12 Red Dot Heroes and was the first to perform at the opening of Apple's new retail store in Singapore where he played a 4-song set to a packed full-house.Sezairi's new single, '70's', follows the same infectious disco/funk style as 'Fire To The Floor' was released on 7 Jul 2017 and charted on Spotify Viral 50 across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Taiwan - one of his most successful tracks to date.
