You take a fat rapper-wannabe, a skinny sex-freaked nerd and a space- camp geek veteran and top it all off with Owen Wilson's post depression comeback performance. Now that's the kind of brew you don't want to miss out on.

Dripping with high school corridor drama, nerd empowerment stances and homelessness desperation, Drillbit Taylor takes a proactive approach in teaching teenagers how to conquer their fears without the extensive use of violence.

How much of a hero can you expect a guy named Drillbit Taylor to be? Truth is, not much. Firstly, Drillbit is a name that he was given by bullies in his childhood and it still stuck fifteen years on. And secondly, he's the human personification of Courage The Cowardly Dog.

But with a tongue as smooth as silk, Drillbit somehow manages to con his way right through to getting some moolah from the bullied threesome by teaching them bogus protection techniques and at the same time, he got some hot McLovin' from their English teacher during her free periods.

With the whole film titled to Owen Wilson's character, he sadly fails to be the one to make this film sit comfortably on cloud nine in the box office.

Hat's off to the three very tortured stooges played by David Dorfman, Troy Gentile and Nate Hartley. Their comic timing was impeccable and their on-screen chemistry was off the hook!

Like all other high-school bully film, the nerds rule at the end of the day. And there is no reason why director Steven Brill should change that already working concept. He does, however, make someone lose their precious pinky finger! I'm not telling you who though…
