Everyone knows that the essential ingredients to throwing a great party are: free-flow alcohol, great music and an appreciative audience. At the Jack Daniel's Global Tour event, it was nothing short of a fabulous party on a Friday night at Hard Rock Café.

Hosted by MTV VJ Utt and Okto Channel's Faye Wong, indie bands from around the region kept the entertainment gauge at maximum throughout the night belting out song after song. Local band, Enigma, kicked things off with a high energy performance that got the audience to their feet, gyrating to the beat of the music.

Thereafter, the audience was treated to equally rocking performances from other regional bands like Lab Rat from Malaysia, Ayala from Philippines, SORE from Indonesia, and 5 & Dime from Malaysia.

Interspersed between the various acts, the three DJs - DJ Kruise from Vietnam, DJ Playboy Electronix and DJ Spydamonkee, both from Thailand, kept the party mood going by treating the audience to remixes of popular tunes from the 80's to the present.

The crowd lapped up every beat of the music, taking up every inch of the dancefloor, and boogied to the wicked beat of the music. Without a doubt, the free-flow of Jack Daniel's must have worked its magic in loosening up the normally uptight and obedient Singapore crowd.

The crowd also went wild during the interactive quiz session of the night. Up for grabs were exclusive Jack Daniel's watches, definitely something no one wanted to miss out on! However, one down-side would be the lack of interactivity going on between the hosts and the audience during the various intervals.

At 11pm, Asian Idol Hady Mirza wound things down with his brand of soulful tunes, and the audience took the opportunity to catch a much-needed breather from the hours of crazy dancing to rocking music and spinning tunes.

The night ended with DJ Spydamonkee spinning all the way to midnight as the audience happily lapped up every beat of music that reverberated around the walls.

Raising our glasses to Jack Daniels, it was indeed an awesome night of celebration and unforgettable music!
