Beauty and brains? Hell, yeah! Mariah Carey's latest album, E=MC2 has got to be one of the cleverest album titles of all time. Let's break down this equation, shall we?

E = Theoretically, energy emission. Hypothetically, Carey's ability to conjure up unwavering energy and enthusiasm in the delivery of her songs.

M = Theoretically, mass content. Hypothetically, Carey's ability to maintain her smoldering hot body to a mass comparable to that of a twelve year old. (I'm not exaggerating, she said so herself.)

C2 = Theoretically, the speed of light. Hypothetically, Carey's ability to stay in the music industry producing hit after hit at a speed comparable to that of light.

Therefore, this proves Albert Einstein's formula E=MC2, true. Carey's new found figure coupled with her ability to produce hit after hit, has caused an explosion of energy!

Track after track is her sinful, caramel-drenched voice, taking you to heights uncharted. How she manages to create instant classic ballads as well as hip-gyrating club hits is a secret only she can reveal.

"Touch My Body" has deservedly become Carey's eighteenth number one single and that is enough proof that her formula works. "Bye Bye" and "Thanx 4 Nothin" shall glitter in the spotlight soon if we can adopt the theory of repetition.

Unlike older artists who feel the need to collaborate on every other track with younger talent in order to up their 'hip' factor, Mariah Carey stays true to herself and has kept it to a minimum with all the frivolousness. She knows that her "lambs" want her voice and her voice alone can sell millions of albums around the world.

The album features T-Pain, Damian Marley and Young Jeezy. Of which, only T-Pain's single "Migrate" is worth a mention. Damian Marley and Young Jeezy do no justice to their parts on the tracks "Cruise Control" and "Side Effects", respectively.
