Miley Cyrus Doesn't Get Why Perez Hilton Picks On Her

Although Miley Cyrus may have been on Perez Hilton's side when they Tweeted about same-sex marriage, that doesn't quite mean the two are BFFs just yet. The Hannah Montana star says the gossip blogger still picks on her on his site, and she doesn't understand why.

"That can be painful," the 16-year-old told London's Daily Mail. "That's just a mean person. I don't know how old he is, but taking it out on me is a little strange. It's like going back to high school."

Cyrus said that she especially doesn't understand why Hilton insists on being so mean to her, when she's only out there trying to doing her job. "I get to travel and go to London and Paris, while this person sits by the computer, writing mean things about me," she said. "I'd rather be the one travelling."

In a candid mood, apparently, Miley also told the paper that she wants people to know that despite her relationship with 20-year-old model/musician Justin Gaston, she is waiting to have sex until she gets married. "I want to keep my virginity until I marry," she said. "I was brought up in a Christian family."

Her faith also helps her stay strong in Los Angeles, where it's "harder finding people who are real," she said.

And Cyrus isn't letting anyone tell her how to live her life or how to look while doing it. "People will say things like: 'You've got to lose weight and be this smaller size to wear this dress,' " she said. "It's upsetting, but I'm happy with how I look."
