U2's latest album will be released in March this year.

Robert Plant Voted Top Rock Vocalist

In a poll to determine the best rock vocalist of all time, one legendary singer has come out tops.

Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has clinched top spot in a poll conducted by digital radio station Planet Rock to honor the greatest voices in rock and roll history. On top of his win, Plant has also been recognized for his contributions to music in the British New Year Honurs list.

The rocker unfortunately is still reluctant to rejoin Led Zeppelin on their reunion tour.

Gorillaz Named Most Popular Band On Myspace

Social networking site Myspace.com has revealed their most popular band of 2008.

Gorillaz have topped a list of the most popular acts on the website last year, ahead of the likes of Coldplay, Oasis and Lily Allen. The virtual band created by Blur frontman Damon Albarn had a record of more than 600,000 friends on Myspace.

Gorillaz comfortably beat 2nd place Bullet For My Valentine and third place Amy Winehouse.

Kelly Clarkson Reveals New Single And Album

American-Idol-turned-pop-superstar Kelly Clarkson has announced the release of her new album.

The pop star has revealed that the album will be entitled Masquerade and will feature songwriting contributions from One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder. Clarkson's new album will be preceded by the single "My Life Would Suck Without You," which fans can look out for later this month.

The singer's last album My December was released in July 2007.

Amy Winehouse On The Road To Recovery

Good news from the Amy Winehouse camp: the singer is apparently well on the road to recovery.

Winehouse has continued to show signs of improvement during her holiday in the Carribean and has even extended her stay for another two weeks. The troubled singer had been summoned to court for drug related offences after her arrest in 2007, and will take to the stands later this month.

Winehouse is also making plans to design apparel for Fred Perry later this year.
