Lily Allen In Trouble For Britney Cover

Lily Allen's recent rendition of Britney's song "Womanizer" has landed her in trouble with her record label.

Lily's cover of the song was played on producer Mark Ronson's radio show, and was instantly ripped and placed on the world wide web by fans. The British singer's record label EMI was reportedly upset by her actions, but in her defence, Lily has said that she simply loved the song.

The "Littlest things" singer is set to release her new album early next year under her record label EMI.

Hip-hop superstar Akon has been sentenced for his now infamous "fan-tossing" saga back in 2007.

Soulja Boy Apologizes For Using Vulgarity

Teen R&B superstar Soulja Boy has apologized for using vulgar language in public, admitting that it was a bad example to his fans.

The 18 year-old rapper said in an interview that he was sorry for his past ways, and is determined to set a good example for his fans. Soulja Boy added that he realized he shouldered a great responsibility after meeting his young supporters face to face.

The Grammy nominated artiste has just released his new album Soulja Boy Tellem.


N.E.R.D Unveil New Credit Crunch Video

Musicians are known for their wide range of influences, and alternative hip-hop band N.E.R.D. have found theirs in the current economic crisis.

Frontman Pharrell Williams and band have unveiled their latest music video that is inspired by the credit crunch. The video to the single "Sooner or Later" is part of the band's current album Seeing sounds, and features Pharrell sweeping up a trading floor amid scenes of financial panic.

The album was released in June this year and also features the hit song "Everyone Nose."


Trent Reznor Slams Use Of Songs In Torture

Nine inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has reacted in anger after finding out that the band's music was used to torture prison inmates.

The industrial rock band's songs have been played by US Forces to inmates at the Guantanamo Bay detention centre to prepare them for interrogation. Reznor wrote on the website saying it was profoundly insulting that music he created with his heart and soul was being used for purposes of torture.

Songs by AC/DC, Metallica and Aerosmith have also been used at the detention centre.
