Weezer Release 6 Festive Songs Online
American rock act Weezer are set to release online 6 Christmas songs that were originally recorded for the iPhone.
The band had previously recorded the songs for the recently released iPhone game Tap Tap Revenge, Christmas with Weezer. But due to overwhelming demand from non-iPhone users, Weezer has decided to release the songs for digital download.
Songs released include "Silent Night" and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing."
Another Oasis Album On The Way
If you can't get enough of the new Oasis album, not to worry. The rockers are on the way to yet another new album.
Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has confirmed that he has already written and demo-ed all the tracks for the new album. He said however, that he would like to take some time off and release a solo album before recording of the new album gets underway.
No date of release has been revealed for the new Oasis album.
Anthony Kiedis Almost Suffered Organ Failure
Rock singer Anthony Kiedis was reportedly in and out of the hospital earlier this year, and almost suffered an organ failure.
Friends of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman have said that Kiedis was treated for kidney disease, and almost needed an organ transplant. The health problems were thought to be related to his past cocaine and heroin addictions.
Kiedis's representatives have not confirmed nor denied claims that he was treated at a hospital earlier this year.
Anthony Kiedis Has No Plans For 2009 Album Release
Recently reunited rock band No Doubt have said that they have no plans to release a new album in 2009.
