U2 Singer Receives Peace Honor

U2 singer Bono has landed another award, but this time it is for his work away from music.

Bono has been presented with the Man of Peace prize by the Nobel Peace laureates for helping to tackle African debt, poverty and disease. The singer said that it is a very big award for him, and added that it is the closest a rock star can get to the Nobel Peace Prize.

Last year's recipients of the award include Hollywood actor George Cloony.


Lily Allen Records Britney Cover

Pop fans listen up! British starlet Lily Allen has recorded a cover of a Britney Spears song.

Lily has recorded a cover of Britney's smash hit "Womanizer." The rendition was debuted on her record producer Mark Ronson's weekly show last week. Lily Allen has a habit of making such bootlegs, previously recording a cover of Kaiser Chief's "Oh My God."

The British singer's new album is set for release in February next year.


Chris Brown To Sing With Rihanna

Expect sparks to fly as R&B singer Chris Brown is set to record a series of songs with Rihanna.

The superstar has revealed that he is writing songs for Rihanna's follow up album to her 2007 offering Good Girl Gone Bad. Brown has said that amongst these tracks, a series of them could become collaborative efforts between the two singers.

Brown was recently crowned Billboard's Artist of the Year.


Madonna To Join Britney In Concert

Things couldn't be going better for pop princess Britney Spears. Her highly anticipated tour is set to see some fabulous guest appearances.

Britney is in talks with the Material girl herself Madonna for a guest appearance on her upcoming world tour. The "Womanizer" singer joined Madonna on the stage at her Sticky and Sweet world tour in November, and is now gearing for another collaboration.

Britney's comeback tour begins next year and will also feature the Pussycat Dolls.


Amy Winehouse Becomes Voluntary Nurse?

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been making full use of her time in the hospital to do some good.

Winehouse has reportedly been doing voluntary work as a nurse in a London Hospital, looking after her fellow patients and serving meals during her stay. The singer has suffered a string of illnesses throughout the year, and was diagnosed with traces of the lung disease emphysema in June.

We wish the singer a speedy recovery.
