Miley Cyrus Says She Relates To The TV-Star Dog In 'Bolt'

With all the success she's had over the past couple of years, it's hard to remember that Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is only 15 years old. In fact, she admits that it's sometimes hard for her to remember too. And she's quick to point out that her predicament is similar to the one faced by Bolt, the title dog in Cyrus' new animated movie.
In Bolt, a puppy plays a sci-fi action hero, and it isn't until he faces life off the studio lot that he realizes he's just a regular dog with no real-life superpowers.
"I think it really shows a lot of kids when they see pictures of me in the press and the paparazzi where I'm not all glamorous and all done up," she told MTV News. "You have to realize it's kind of like Bolt - that's what he has to learn to do."
With the constant media attention she gets, as well as all the rumors and scrutiny she faces on a daily basis, it seems like it would be hard for her to find time to be a normal teen who goes out and has fun, but Cyrus insists she's trying her best to find a balance.
"I feel like I have just enough [fun]," she said of her life as a child star. "I get to do just enough to be happy, but I get enough to know I'm safe and know that I'm living a good life and being smart."
And just like Bolt learning how to be a regular dog, turning off the adult, Hollywood persona is something Cyrus is also learning to do. "He has to learn to turn it off, and I definitely feel like that," she said. "There's times when you need to turn it off, and that's something that Bolt doesn't know how to do."
