Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has hinted that the multi award-winning band may break up within 2 years.

Martin has said that he wants to quit the band before he starts feeling too old. The 31-year old singer will leave the industry before he turns 33, but has assured fans that Coldplay will make the most of their time before the end of their phenomenal career.

Coldplay's popularity hit a record high with their latest album Viva La Vida topping charts in 36 countries this year.


U2 Releases New Genre-Defying Album

Irish rockers U2 are releasing a brand new album that is set to "reinvent" the genre of rock and roll.

The latest album by the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers has been said to be wildly innovative, and is geared to push the limits of the sound arena. U2's album also features better-than-ever lyrics and vocal performances by frontman Bono.

The rock band's latest album is rumored to be titled No Line on the Horizon and will be released early next year.


Diddy Brings His Hard Words To Television

After his highly-publicized feud with Danity Kane's Aubrey O'Day, rapper P Diddy is bringing his arsenal of hard hitting words to the small screen.

The hip-hop superstar has landed a role in the popular TV series CSI:Miami, and will play a prosecuter in two episodes. Adding to the courtroom drama, Diddy's role will also see him at loggerheads with a police lieutenant.

Diddy's is no stranger to acting and has had roles in movies like Made and Monster's Ball.


Fergie Puts A Stop To Diet Plans

After putting on weight for a movie role, Black Eyed Peas superstar Fergie has been told to put her diet plans on hold due to delays in her filming schedules.

The sultry singer had put on 6 kilograms to play the role of a well-endowed prostitute in the movie-musical Nine, and had hoped to lose them over Christmas. Fergie is now required to return to the set in December for extra shoots and has put her dieting regime on hold.

Fergie has said however that she is enjoying her eating binge, and has no reservations packing on the pounds.


Britney Documentary Reveals An Unhappy Singer

In the run up to her highly anticipated album launch, Britney Spears has released more details on her exclusive documentary.

The 90-minute interview reveals that the pop princess is frustrated and unhappy living under the terms of her new life, adding that she feels trapped in a situation she has no control over. Britney's new lifestyle sees her enter many restrictions after her highly publicized emotional breakdown last year.

Britney's documentary will air a few days before her album Circus is released early next month.
