Anthony Kiedis' Autobiography Set To Become TV Series

4 years after its release, Anthony Kiedis' bestselling autobiography is set to hit the small screen.

Scar Tissue, the memoirs of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman is currently being developed into a television drama series. The show is set to be an offbeat comedy and will also shed light on the singer's early life in Hollywood and his unconventional father-son relationship.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are currently on hiatus after the release of their double album Stadium Arcadium.


'N Sync Singer Lance Bass Two Inches Shorter

Ex-'N Sync member Lance Bass has revealed that he is now 5cm shorter after undergoing a gruelling training stint to become an astronaut.

Bass was enrolled at a Russian Cosmonaut Training Centre for 6 months, and said that he became 5cm shorter after that. The singer did not know the exact reasons for the phenomenon, though he mentioned that his instructors had made him a special suit that would contract in space.

Lance has not flown to space yet as he has not been able to finance the £12.9 million trip.


Eminem's New Album Pushed Back

Fans of rap superstar Eminem, hold your horses. The real Slim Shady has delayed his upcoming album launch.

Eminem's new album Relapse was originally slated for release in December, but will now be pushed back till the first quarter of 2009. According to insiders, the rapper is being a perfectionist and is still working on the finishing touches.

Eminem's delay removes his album from the end-of-year chart battle that sees releases from 50 cent, Dr Dre and Kanye West.


Kanye West Controversy At 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards

Kanye's controversy with the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards continues even though he performed and won at the EMAs this year. Apparently, he thinks his win was fixed!

The rapper claimed the only reason why he won the Ultimate Urban Award over Lil Wayne, is because he was present at the bash. He also felt it is ridiculous that Britney Spears got the Act of 2008 award instead of Rihanna.

Seems like Kanye West will always be Kanye West.


Rihanna Cancels Concert In Jakarta

Bad news for Rihanna fans as the star is cancelling one stop of her Asian tour for fear of her safety.

The singer announced that she decided to cancel her concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, after a travel advisory was issued in the country following the execution of three religious militants. The case is connected to the 2002 Bali bombings.

Rihanna has not revealed any plans to reschedule her originally sold-out show.
