Death Cab for Cutie Frontman Stung By Scorpion

In a freak backstage accident, Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard was stung not once, but twice by a poisonous scorpion.

Gibbard was backstage at a concert in San Diego and felt something sting his thigh when he changed into his show trousers. The singer was bitten twice by a small scorpion but was still able to perform later that night.

Gibbard's bandmates are keeping a close eye on him just in case.


Ozzy Osbourne Crowned Living Legend of Rock

One of the forefathers of death metal music, Ozzy Osbourne, has been crowned a Living Legend of Rock.

The Black Sabbath frontman was presented with the title at the Marshall Classic Rock: Roll of Honour Awards. Ozzy, the Prince of Darkness, was honored as a Living Legend for his long career which spanned 4 decades.

Previous recipients of the award include Alice Cooper and Jimmy Page.


Winehouse Uses Music As Rehab

Instead of checking herself into rehab, Amy Winehouse is turning to music to cure her addictions.

Winehouse is reportedly seeking treatment at a hospital for a lingering chest infection, apparently caused by excessive smoking. The singer is attempting to curb her addiction by focusing on her music.

Winehouse's tinkering around in the studio might just produce her third album.


Kylie Minogue's Luggage Stolen Hours Before Latin American Tour

Famed for her glamorous stage outfits, Kylie Minogue's Latin American tour has hit a snag when her luggages were stolen from the airport.

Kylie's luggages were found missing just hours before she was supposed to hit the stage in Columbia. Among the lost items were several of the singer's performance outfits, passports, laptops and cameras.

Kylie was still able to perform that night, but has put up a reward for the safe return of her possessions.
