Britney Spears' Birthday Bash On Television

Pop princess Britney Spears will celebrate her 27th birthday in style, blowing out candles on live television later this year.

The Sagittarius will usher in the special occasion by singing at Bryant Park in New York City on December 2. Britney's performance will be televised live on the US breakfast show, Good Morning America.

The singer's birthday bash has apparently sparked a feud amongst American TV networks because everyone wants a piece of her.


Canadian Singer Fiest Calls It Quits

After a successful solo career, Canadian singer-songwriter Feist is now ready to call it quits.

Leslie Feist will take a break from the pressures of the music industry after her current Canadian Tour. The singer's last album The Reminder won many awards, and also features the song "1,2,3,4" that was picked for Apple's ipod Nano commercial.

The tour will run till mid-November, after which Feist will return to the comforts of her bedroom.


50 cent Is The Next Donald Trump?

50 Cent is going to follow in the shoes of Donald Trump and start his own reality TV show.

The rapper will suit up to front a new Apprentice-styled show with a hip-hop twist. Fifty will play the "streetsmart" mogul in this series, sieving through 16 contestants with challenges relating to street savvy and business smarts.

8 episodes have already been lined up for the series that has yet to be named.


Eminem Finds Majority Of Rap Music Now Crap

After his long break, rapper Eminem is set to release his new album Relapse, but in typical controversy, he has stated that he finds the majority of rap music today "crap."

Muse Releases Live Song Video On Internet

Jumping on the broadband wagon, rock band Muse has made available a rare live track for free download on the internet.

Muse has released a video version of their 2003 track "Fury" as a gift to fans on the band's website. The track was left off the Absolution album and only appeared as a bonus track on Japanese pressings.

Muse has often been compared to fellow English band Radiohead, who have also previously released videos and an album on the internet.
