Dirty Pretty Things Split

Carl Barat's band Dirty Pretty Things, has announced that they have decided to part ways.

The indie rock outfit have just ended their UK tour, and revealed that they will play their last show in December as part of a charity. The aim of the fund-raiser is to buy musical instruments for prisoners.

Barat formed Dirty Pretty Things after the demise of his previous band, The Libertines, which was fronted by the infamous Pete Doherty.


The Cure Album Preview

One of the most important rock bands around are releasing their 13th album, and we here at MTV have got first dibs.

Having previewed some songs during live performances last year, The Cure's latest record, entitled 4:13, is set to drop at the end of the week. However, MTV has got an exclusive preview for those who can't wait till then.

Rihanna has never officially confirmed her alleged romance with Chris Brown. But has the beauty from Barbados switched dance partners?

The latest from the gossip mill has it that Rihanna was spotted getting cosy with Kanye West at a gig recently. The two were seen kissing and the songtress was sitting on Ye's lap while attending a concert in LA.

Well, we're guessing Rihanna's going to deny those rumors too, but who knows.
