Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes Will Release 2nd Solo Album In January

Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes will release her 2nd solo album in January, more than six years after her death in a car accident.

The former TLC singer's posthumous album Eye-Legacy will be released in January 2009, and will feature her unreleased vocals, as well as guest performers Missy Elliot. The former TLC singer died in a car accident in 2002.

A percentage of sales will be donated to the Lisa Lopes Foundation, and her orphanage in Honduras.

Britney Spears Bans Alcohol On Tour

Staying true to her intentions of remaining vice-free, pop superstar Britney Spears has banned alcohol from the backstage area of her forthcoming world tour.

Britney's world tour comes in conjunction with her upcoming album release Circus, and the singer is determined to launch a comeback free of the addictions that have plagued her in recent years. Only soft drinks and coffee are available on the tour,

The Circus tour will begin next year.


The Sugababes To Split Temporarily

Running counter to the build-up for their latest album release, the Sugababes have announced that they will split.

The pop group is to split, but only temporarily, to allow founding member Keisha Buchanan time off to study at a university. Buchanan said that being a Sugababe' since she was 12 meant she was never able to carry out further studies, and would love the opportunity.

The Sugababe's album Catfights and Spotlights will be released later this month.


Christina Aguilera Is Back

Christina Aguilera is back! The pop starlet has hit the stage again after the birth of her baby boy.

Aguilera wowed the audience at London's Royal Albert Hall, proving she is back again at the top of her game. This is her first major performance since giving birth to her first child, Max, ten months ago with partner Jordan Bratman.

The performance was in support of the Thisday Africa Rising Project, and also featured singer Seal and model Naomi Campbell.
