Kanye West For Glastonbury?

Rockstar Noel Gallagher might have protested Jay-Z's headlining spot at this year's Glastonbury Festival, but it seems the hip-hop trend might continue.

Festival organizers have approached Kanye West to play in next year's show, and are awaiting the rapper's reply. Perhaps in a move to appease rock fans, he won't be playing on the main stage though.

Kanye fans in Singapore definitely will not have to wait until then to catch the star in action. Kanye will be hitting the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 29, so get those tickets fast!


Green Day Works With Nirvana Producer

Green Day has finally ended speculations on their upcoming collaboration with ex-Nirvana producer Butch Vig.

The punk band shot a 45-second video teaser which showed Vig at the helm of the camera, confirming rumors of the producer's involvement on their new album. Vig has previously worked with the likes of Garbage and the Smashing Pumpkins.

Green Day's upcoming album will be out next year.


Linkin Park Release New Live Album

Fans of rockers Linkin Park have much to look forward to in coming months.

The American metallers have recorded a new live album and DVD, and are releasing them next month. Linkin Park's album is titled Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes, and also features an onstage performance with rapper Jay-Z.

Live at Milton Keynes was the band's only outdoor gig of 2008.


The Strokes Frontman Opens Korean Bar B Q

Adding to the ever rising list of celebrity-run eating joints, The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas, has opened a new Asian food parlor.

Casablancas turned restaurant owner when his Korean Bar B Q joint opened in Los Angeles a few nights ago. The eatery, Shin, is co-owned by DJ Mark Ronson and actress Kirsten Dunst, amongst others.

The Korean restaurant is in the Hollywood neighbourhood and has since attracted many celebrities.


Madonna & Guy Ritchie Divorce

After months of denying rumors, it seems like the cat is finally out of the bag. The official word is that Madonna and Guy Richie are headed for splitsville.
