Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Gets Street Named After Him

There have been band names with the word street in them, like the Streets and the Manic Street Preachers. One musician, on the other hand, just got a street named after him.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, has been honored with a street name in his hometown of Warren, in the American state of Ohio. The street in question will be called Dave Grohl alley.

The name change is a result of a petition by fans of the Foo Fighter.


Bon Jovi Sued For $400 Billion

Rock band Bon Jovi have been sued for a whopping $400 billion after they were accused of plagiarising a baseball team anthem.

American musician Samuel Steele filed the lawsuit, claiming Jon Bon Jovi copied lyrics from his song "(Man I really) Love This Team," also the anthem for Boston Major League team the Red Sox. The implicated Bon Jovi track "I Love This Town" can be found in the 2007 album, Lost Highway.

Bon Jovi's album has sold just under 4 million copies, bringing awardable damages to 400 billion dollars.


Leona Lewis Fighting To Prevent Pre-X Factor Album Release

British R&B sensation Leona Lewis is working hard to keep some things in her past hidden.

London record label UEG Music plans to release an album Lewis made before her rise to fame on the reality TV show The X Factor without the singer's consent. Her lawyers are fighting to keep the album Best Kept Secret under the covers.

Leona Lewis's official debut album Spirit was released early this year.


Franz Ferdinand Record With Human Bones!

In the search for new and innovative methods of making music, one band has decided to look inward, recording music from human bones!

British rock act Franz Ferdinand used human bones as instruments on their forthcoming album Tonight. The band had bought the skeleton last year, and decided to experiment with it when they found themselves in need of a "percussive sound" for the song "Kiss me."

The track includes sounds of rib bones, rattling teeth, and a pelvis.


Bjork and Thom Yorke Together On A Single

Two of the most exciting singers in modern music have come together once again. Bjork's latest single features the vocals of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke.

Icelandic musician Bjork's single is entitled "Nattura," named after an Icelandic Environmental Organization, and features Thom Yorke on accompanying vocals. Bjork and Yorke have recently worked together on the year 2000 track "I've seen it all."

The single "Naturra" is due for release later this month.
