Avenged Sevenfold Rocks Singapore On October 24!

By News Desk

With a band name coming out of a reference in the Bible, it's little wonder that the music of Avenged Sevenfold is packed with thought-provoking meaning.

Commonly referred to as A7X, this American rock band, formed in 1999, hails from Orange County, California. But it was only in 2005 that they achieved commercial success with City of Evil, its first single "Bat Country" a surprisingly huge smash.

A7x released their eagerly-awaited self-titled 4th album in late 2007, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200. The record spawned glorious scream-fests like "Afterlife" and "Dear God," cementing their status as a rock/heavy metal mainstay in the music industry.

Only just this month did A7x release their latest DVD/CD package, Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough. So if you've been a faithful follower of A7X's road to success, simply tune in to MTV Swag from October 6 to October 20 and text in the code word that appears on your TV screens.

Who knows, you could be one of the lucky few rocking the house down with the band!
