Quick Cuts - Robbie Williams Monkeys Around, Barack Obama Soundtrack, and More!

By News Desk

Musical Money-Makers

So just who are the top earning musicians last year? Well, the list is out, and the answer might just surprise some people.

Even though Jay-Z frequently makes the list of top Hip-Hop tycoons, it seems his wife, Beyonce, might be the one bringing home the bacon. B reportedly made $80 million last year, second only to the Police, who drew a $115 million paycheck.

Other musical money-makers include Justin Timberlake and Madonna.

Robbie Williams Monkeys Around

Robbie Williams has reportedly been living like a recluse, not leaving his US home in about 3 months. He recently appeared for the first time however, dressed as a gorilla.

The singer bought the monkey suit from a fancy dress store, and walked around Los Angeles wearing it. Friends of Robbie have expressed their concern over his state of mind after photos of him appeared in the press.

A few weeks ago, we reported that Robbie Williams split with his girlfriend, actress Ayda Field, to concentrate on music-making.

Noel Gallagher Initially Thought To Be Stabbed

Noel Gallagher was attacked by a man while he was onstage earlier this month, and the Oasis man has revealed more about the incident.

In an interview with MTV, Noel and brother, Liam, said that they initially thought he was stabbed during the attack. The puddles on the dark stage caused by earlier rains led Noel to believe that he was bleeding.

The older Gallagher suffered 3 broken ribs as a result of the assault.

Barack Obama Soundtrack

We've all heard of soundtracks to movies and TV series. But how about one for a Presidential Campaign?

It seems that famous supporters of US Presidential hopeful, Barrack Obama, are eager to contribute music to his cause. Stars like Will.I.Am, Kanye West, and Adam Levine are writing songs for the Obama campaign soundtrack.

The album will be called Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement.
