The band was involved in a high-speed chase with the Canadian border patrol when their tour bus driver refused to pull over. After being stopped, the band discovered that they were in pursuit because of some illegal parking.

That's why it's always better to abide by the law, ladies and gentlemen.

Snoop Dogg Flouts Smoking Ban

After getting his ban lifted in Australia, Snoop Dogg is in trouble again, but this time, in a different country.

Rapper, Snoop Dogg, might be hit with a fine after he was caught openly smoking while performing at a gig in Amsterdam, Holland. Snoop Dogg had mentioned that he has given up the drug, saying that he didn't need it anymore.

We hope Snoop Dogg will finally give it up and stay free for real.

Franz Ferdinand's "Sinister" New Album

Franz Ferdinand drummer, Paul Thompson, recently welcomed a baby boy into the family, and now it seems the band will soon be welcoming a brand new album.

Lead singer, Alex Kapranos, has dismissed rumors that the album would have an afro-beat influence, but has stated that the record would be a sinister one in mood. He also said that it will head in a direction that's more dance than rock.

The new album might be released in January next year.

Weezer Records Seventh Album

After releasing their Red album recently, it seems that nerd rockers, Weezer, are hard at work for another.

Frontman, Rivers Cuomo, claims that the next album is "meaty, crunchy and melodic like a good Weezer album should be." The band is also considering making the new album self-titled, so that it would be known by the color of its cover, like the previous Green, Blue and Red albums.

We sure hope the next album would be as good as it sounds.

Janet Jackson Splits With Def Jam Records

With the last album flopping commercially and critically, Janet Jackson has finally decided to split with her record label.

Check that out here.
