Gorillaz Work On New Album

Fans of cartoon band, Gorillaz, who have been longing for a new album, well, your prayers have been answered!

Damon Albarn from Blur previously stated that there was not going to be anymore Gorillaz albums. However, he has just announced that he and animator, Jamie Hewlett, have already started to work on the album, and stated that the cartoon band will have a new visual look.

The band's last album was Demon Days, released in 2005.


Travis Barker, DJ AM Stable After Plane Crash

Former Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, and DJ AM were critically injured in a private jet crash over the weekend, but are now reported to be in stable condition.

Franz Ferdinand's Drummer Welcomes Baby Boy

British rockers, Franz Ferdinand, had to perform without their drummer recently because his wife was having a baby!

Franz Ferdinand was performing at a secret gig in Glastonbury, when drummer, Paul Thompson, had to leave because his wife had gone to labour. Franz Ferdinand swapped their headlining spot with The Ting Tings and played the gig with session drummers.

Frontman, Alex Kapranos, then proudly announced that they welcomed a baby boy.


Jimi Hendrix's Unreleased Material

Fans of the late Jimi Hendrix will have something to look forward to, as his unreleased material is set to see the light of day.

Previously unreleased material of the singer and his band, The Ghetto Fighters, are set to be released through a media company and will be accompanied with an autobiography, a screenplay featuring animations and a cartoon self-portrait by the late guitarist.

You can also be your own rock star like Jimi Hendrix, with the game Guitar Hero.
