Hendrix's Burnt Guitar For Sale
So just how much does a burnt and rusty guitar go for these days? How about a cool half a million US Dollars??
Of course, the guitar in question belongs to the late great Jimi Hendrix, and he famously burned it during a performance at the London Astoria. The guitar is currently up for auction.
Hendrix once said that burning his guitars is like a sacrifice, and you sacrifice the things that you love.
Oasis Cancel Show
Yesterday we reported that Noel Gallagher was assaulted while playing on stage in Toronto. Here's an update to the story.
Oasis has cancelled their next Canadian show after the incident, as doctors advised Noel to rest and recover from his injuries. He was shoved into his audio monitors and suffered bruising to his hips and ribs.
Oasis were performing as part of the V Festival when the altercation occurred.
'Lollipop' Rips Off 'Candyshop'?
When Puffy changed his name to Diddy, 50 Cent accused the mogul of copying him. Now Fiddy claims someone else is plagiarizing his material.
The rapper has said that he notices similarities between Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" and his own hit, "Candy Shop." He also adds that he will not be listening to other artists albums for now while he is recording his latest work.
50 Cent is set to drop Before I self-Destruct by the end of the year.
KT Tunstall Married
Scottish hitmaker KT Tunstall is married!?
The award-winning singer wed her boyfriend and drummer Luke Bullen in a ceremony on the Isle of Skye Last week. The couple have been dating for over five years, and Bullen popped the question last Christmas.
One year ago, KT actually said she was too busy to get married. But now, it seems congratulations are in order!
